Widgy Widgets Backup

This shortcut allows you to backup your Widgy Widget QR Codes, info and notes to the Collections Database app.

What You Need

• Shortcut: Widgy To Collections that will parse all of the data and place the screenahots in the appropriate fields as well as paste the widgets url from the system clipboard.
• Template file to import into Collections Database: Widgy to Collections Template.zip

Setup

• Download the Collections Database app if you don't already have it
• Open the app and tap Settings → Import → CSV
• Tap where it says Collection Name and name it Widgy Widgets to Collections Database
• Scroll to Image Resolution and select Original
• Tap Next and select the Template File you saved from above and tap the file name that displays
• Tap the hamburger menu in the top right and select Import
• Tap Collections at the lower left of the apps bottom bar and go to the newly created Collection tap Lists → + → name it Widgy Type → Save → Tap the new list → + → and create a new list item for Home Screen, Live Activity, Lock Scren, Apple Watch then back out of the list view
• Tap the hamburger menu in the top right → Fields → Edit → Delete the first field that says # Integer Number, the Widgy Type field and the Link field
• While still in Edit mode, scroll down to URL and tap the + → Done → Continue → Tap the Field (url) option and name it Link → Tap the Selection item and select Widgy Type → Done
• Tap Name → Show in List → Title → Save. Tap Author → Show in List → Save. Tap Widgy Type → Show in List → Save. Tap Photo → Show in List → Thumbnail → scroll to Set as Cover → Cover Size Large → Rsolution → Original and then Save. Tap Descitpion → Show in List → Save and lastly tap Notes → Show in List → Save.
• Setup is now done and going forward is just running the shortcut

Running the Shortcut

After you import a widget into Widgy, go to the widget and…

• Tap Share Widget -> Share Image Preview -> version for your device -> Save Image
• Tap Share Widget -> Share URL -> Copy
• Take a screenshot of the widgets details from the Author to the end of the Description
• Go to the Shortcuts app and run this shortcut. Note: The shortcut will automatically delete the detail screenshot, the preview image and QR code from your Photos library after backup is created
  When prompted to select images, it goes in the order of:
• Details Screenshot
• Widget Preview
• Widget QR Code
